Drop‑In Funding Session – Aotea

The Department of Internal Affairs |Te Tari Taiwhenua , Foundation North, and Auckland Council are excited to be on Aotea, holding space for you to come and kōrero about all things funding with some of the key funders in the region.

We invite you to a Drop‑In Funding Session, open to anyone with funding questions, ideas, or projects in mind.

What to expect

This session will be facilitated by:

• George Tuhura – DIA Community Advisor
• Georgina Parata – DIA Community Advisor
• Jacqui Johnston – Foundation North Engagement Advisor
• Kathy Cumming- Auckland Council Community Broker

The session will begin with a short presentation covering:

• Funding available from Auckland Council, Foundation North, and DIA
• Tips for strong applications
• What makes a successful proposal
• Budgeting guidance and common pitfalls

After the presentation, there will be time for pātai/questions. If you’d like 1:1 time with any of the funding advisors, they will be available the presentation for individual support.
