Landmark moment for Foundation North

The transition from one Chief Executive to another, from Jennifer Gill to Peter Tynan, is now complete as staff and trustees welcomed Peter formally to the organisation yesterday with a Pōwhiri.

Peter was supported at the ceremony by his partner and two children, as well as colleagues from the Royal College of General Practitioners, where he has recently been Interim CEO.

Today the full staff and Board of Foundation North will warmly say their farewells to Jennifer with a Whakawātea (farewell) this afternoon. 

We cannot say enough about what she has contributed to Foundation North and to philanthropy in New Zealand. Her leadership over the last fifteen years has strengthened the organisation in countless ways, and we wish her every happiness for the future.
